Our operating principles

Trust is the product.

A software decision deserves clear evidence. See how we distinguish vendor information, editorial research, and customer experience.

Evidence has a label

Hands-on reviews identify the tested workflow, plan and date, with authentic VSW screenshots. Sourced listings use original, AI-assisted summaries of dated official information; vendor product previews are attributed separately. The catalog is an editorial selection, not a measured popularity ranking. Editorial research does not imply vendor endorsement or ownership verification. We do not import competitor ratings or reviews. Checked community reviews are shown separately.

Reviews begin in a queue

A submission is not a verified review. Before publishing, a moderator must check identity, actual product use, review quality, and conflicts of interest. We welcome both positive and critical experiences. Claims of checking or verification are used only after that work is complete.

Scores come from eligible reviews

Our community rating is the arithmetic mean of all published, manually checked customer reviews for that product. The public review count is the number of those reviews. Employees, partners, and competitors do not contribute to the score. Incentives, when disclosed, are labeled and must never require a positive rating.

Categories describe capabilities

Each category page explains its inclusion criteria. A product can appear in several categories if it fits. Payment does not determine category inclusion. Directory order defaults to product name; optional rating and review-count sorts use public evidence and leave unrated products below rated ones.

Commerce is separate from judgment

Listing requests are free. Future paid presentation, lead, and advertising tools will be labeled. Vendors cannot pay to increase an organic rating, remove valid criticism, or appear as a verified reviewer. We do not currently sell buyer-identification data or provide paid ranking boosts.

Corrections leave a trail

Published review data comes from explicit moderator approval, and the private submission record retains the moderation note and time. Anyone can report factual errors for source review; a vendor ownership claim or personal-data withdrawal requires appropriate identity checks. Keep your submission reference so we can locate the right record.
